NJSCU Participation

The following New Jersey State Colleges and Universities (NJSCU) participate in the joint purchase of Property Insurance: Kean University; New Jersey City University; Montclair State University; Ramapo College of New Jersey; Stockton University; The College of New Jersey; Thomas Edison State University; and; William Paterson University of New Jersey.

Insurance Information

The Property Insurance is first-party insurance that indemnifies the NJSCU participating member institutions for losses, or the loss of their income-producing abilities, when the loss or damage is caused by a covered peril, subject to policy terms and conditions.

Since 2006 the NJSCU participating member institutions have been insured by Factory Mutual (FM) Global.  Each policy period is in line with the NJSCU’s fiscal year which begins July 1.
